1. Exhibition Design Project Manager

The National Art Gallery of Singapore will transform two of Singapore’s most important heritage buildings into a major new museum of modern Southeast Asian art.
studioMilou Singapore, the Singapore office of studioMilou architecture, Paris, is responsible for both the architectural and exhibition design of this exciting project and seeks an exhibition designer with creative talent and managerial skills to join its Singapore team.
The successful candidate will have a higher degree in architecture, art or design and at least three years of experience in designing comparable projects, including planning, developing and managing exhibition projects, in particular those on modern or contemporary art; strong design development and technical skills, particularly in display, graphic design, information technology, and lighting design; knowledge of AutoCAD and other software and proven experience in transforming design concepts into finished drawings and installations.
He or she will also have the ability to lead a team made up of studioMilou’s designers, consultants and exhibition professionals; proven efficiency in following up tenders, managing budgets and working to deadlines; responsibility for overseeing the work of consultants in developing and delivering high-quality materials; excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in working in a multicultural environment including the National Art Gallery of Singapore’s curatorial and management team. Excellent written and spoken English is required for this position.
Position starting in April 2010, have excellent prospects for professional development.
Starting salary: SGD 80 000 p.a. net. (negotiable)

2. Senior Architect / Associate Director

Within the framework of the National Art Gallery of Singapore project, studioMilou Singapore is seeking an English-speaking architect with experience of managing major architectural projects to be responsible for managing a team of 15 architects.
This position requires excellent project-management skills, with a focus on organization and delivery. The candidate must have excellent creative skills, extensive experience in an international architectural practice and a proven track record of managing prestigious projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with Jean-Francois Milou on the development of studioMilou’s activities in the region and will have responsibility for managerial and administrative matters. He or she should possess the competences required to represent the agency to clients and to the studio’s partners in the region, building on existing relationships and fostering new projects.
Salary to be negociated.
